Palm Bay Bassmasters was established in 1988 to pursue the fun and excitement of competitive bass fishing. We are affiliated with the bass federation nation. We conduct twelve tournaments a year. We meet monthly at NIDA Corporation. From Ellis road, turn right on john Rhodes blvd in West Melbourne. The first driveway on your left is NIDA Corporation. The address is 300 South John Rhodes blvd, Melbourne, FL. 32904. Meetings start at 7 pm.
We are a draw club. At each meeting we draw names of the boaters and pair them up with non-boaters. Our membership fees are $60.00. $40.00 of that goes to the state and national BASS Federations. The tournament entry fees are $30.00 per tournament. Plus we have an optional winner take all Calcutta of $5.00. We payout first, second, third, and big bass based on total weight of fish caught. We also pay back the top three teams. The club has a minimum age requirement of 16 years old.
We have lots of opportunities to get in on a piece of the action. But more important we want to promote the sport of bass fishing, sportsmanship, and keeping the environment clean and safe.
We also have a rule that fishing techniques and locations
will be discussed at each meeting. This gives everyone the opportunity to learn from our fellow club members.
We have several openings for boaters and non boaters. We welcome all skill levels. You may also fish as a guest for $13.50. (only with available boat space)
