About Us
We are a Draw Club. At each meeting we draw names of the boaters and pair them up with non-boaters. This provides our members with the opportunity to fish with a wide range of partners and share skills and techniques in different styles of bass fishing. At each monthly tournament we fish different lakes or ramps. We have two highlight events that include our two day tournament at Clewiston on Lake Okeechobee, and our Club Classic that will be held in November featuring our top ten in points.
Membership fees are $50.00. $30.00 of that goes to the State and National Bass Federations. Tournament entry fees are $30.00 per tournament, plus we have an optional winner take all Calcutta of $5.00. 90 percent of the entry fees are paid back at each tournament. We payout first, second, third, and big bass. Based on total weight of fish caught, we also pay back the top three teams. This is based on total weight per boat. Points are assigned each month based on how you finish in a tournament. Point totals are used to determine tha Angler of the Year, and First and Second runner ups, and the Top Ten for the Classic. Big Bass of the Year is also awarded. The Club has a minimum age requirement of 16 years of age.
We have lots of opportunities to get in on a piece of the action. More important, we want to promote the sport of bass fishing, sportsmanship, and keeping the envioment clean and safe. We also have a rule that fishing techniques and locations will be discussed at each meeting. This gives everyone the opportunity to learn from our fellow club members.
We have several opening for Boaters and Non-Boaters. We welcome all skill levels. You may also fish as a guest for $13.50. (only with available space)
